How to draw Flowchart in Word 2003, 2007 and 2010

1) Microsoft Word provides a built-in symbol for users to draw flowcharts.
There is a slight difference between Word versions in terms of the way to get the Flowchart symbols. But once they are found, applying them into the document is relatively easy.

a) 2003

b) 2007

c) 2010

2) Regardless of versions, the way to use the Flowchart symbols is the same. Basically:
a) find the symbol that you need,
b) click that symbol, and
c) click on the part of the document that you want the symbol to be placed.

3) An example of a Flowchart drawn in Word is as below:

a) Put the Start symbol.
b) Put the process (rectangle) symbol.
c) Draw a connecting line between the symbols.
d) Repeat the same steps till the End symbol.
e) Select all symbols including the lines.
f) Right-hand click to get the context menu (as shown above).
g) Select the Group option to group the symbols and lines into one object.
